Privacy policy

What this policy covers

This policy covers sodal.camp, the website that describes SODAL Camp. SODAL Camp is part of Sodal and is built and run by SKM.digital in Woodbury, Connecticut. In this policy, “we” means SKM.digital.

It does not cover a camp’s own registration portal. When a family registers with a camp that uses SODAL Camp, that camp decides how the family’s information is used, and its own privacy policy applies. We handle that information for the camp, under our agreement with the camp, and only to run its portal.

What we collect

When you book a walkthrough, the form sends us what you enter:

• Your name, work email and organization
• Your role, the size of your program, how you register families today and when registration opens, if you choose to tell us
• The rules you want to test and any notes you add

What we don’t collect

This site sets no cookies. It has no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and it loads its fonts from its own server. You can read every page without telling us who you are.

Like any website, our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs, such as the address your request came from, your browser type and the page you asked for. They are used to keep the site running and secure, not to identify visitors.

How we use it

We use your request to reply to you, arrange the walkthrough and prepare for it, and to follow up about that conversation. We don’t add you to a mailing list, and we never sell your information or use it for advertising.

Who handles it for us

A few services help us run the site. Each one gets only what it needs:

• Vercel hosts the site and runs the walkthrough form.
• Resend delivers your request to our inbox as an email.
• Our email provider stores that email, along with any replies.

How long we keep it

We keep your request while we’re in touch about SODAL Camp. If we haven’t been in touch for two years, we delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email privacy@sodal.camp and we’ll answer within 30 days. We won’t treat you differently for asking.

Children

This site is for camp directors, schools and the people who run their programs. It is not meant for children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Security

The site is served only over an encrypted connection. Walkthrough requests are read only by the people who reply to them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles information, we’ll update this page and the date below before the change takes effect.
